Fall 2026 Fundamentals of Fire Investigation Course (IAAI-FIT Certification)

BC-IAAI hosted our first course offering the IAAI-FIT (Fire Investigation Technician) certification in Fall 2026.

This week-long course of classroom lessons, hands-on training, and a live burn scenario was attended by over 50 participants from municipal fire services, various police departments, the Office of the Fire Commissioner, and also private fire investigators. We’re extremely grateful to the attendees, presenters, Canstar Restorations, and Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services for making this event possible!
