This is the new website and Association Management System of the British Columbia Chapter 15 - International Association of Arson Investigators (BC Chapter 15 IAAI). This website has been designed to act as the central hub of the BC Chapter 15 IAAI. Our goal is to provide existing and prospective new members with information on our upcoming training seminars and events, information on where to access further training and professional development resources, links to information sources, provide tools for conducting arson investigations and to provide easy access to join and participate in the BCIAAI through online registration and payments. The membership of BC Chapter 15 IAAI consists of public and private sector fire investigators, police and fire personnel, safety authority staff, insurance professionals, military personal, educational institutions and other special investigators. The “About Us” tab will direct you to information specific to our Executive Board of Directors, Committees, Contact List, President’s Message, Constitution and Bylaws and our Code of Ethics. One of the primary purposes of our organization is to provide training and development opportunities to fire and arson investigators within British Columbia. Check out the “Training Events” tab to view the training calendar and to learn about upcoming seminars or training events in your area. You can also submit events to us an we will post them! Detailed information on Professional Development opportunities within British Columbia and available through our parent organization using CFI Trainer.net is also posted under this tab. Our “Member Center” tab is an exciting and unique feature that provides our membership with a portal to a secure “members only” section of our website. Check out the “Awards and Scholarships” tab if you are looking for information or would like to apply for or nominate others for an educational scholarship or one of our annual awards.The “Information and Resources” tab provides access to breaking news as well as links to past and present editions of THE INFORMER newsletter as long as you have an active membership. Active memberships are presently only $25 per year and will be increasing to $30 per year effective January 1, 2013.
