December 2018 One Day Training Event

This is a  one day seminar providing a practical guide to fire scene photography, and a discussion / orientation of the discussing and sharing information between all parties on a fire scene. The seminar includes lunch and is intended for all fire, police, and insurance individuals who are involved in on-scene fire investigation.

10:00 – 10:30     Doors open, coffee and registration
10:30 – 12:00     Fire Scene Photography – Overview of equipment, lighting, aspect, and angles used in fire scene and evidence documentation  (Presented by Forensic Ident Specialists)
12:00 – 13:00     Lunch
13:00 – 14:30     Litigation and Legal aspects of Information Sharing on the Fire Scene – Freedom of Information Act, Liabilities and Duties when providing and receiving witness information at the fire scene. Presented by John Kim, Lindsey LLP.
Cost is $100 for members, $130 for non-members. Payment at the door by cash, credit, or cheque. Chapter membership registration available for non-members for no extra cost.
